About Brian

 

Brian is a former attorney at a large international law firm, was counsel for one of the nation's largest public transportation systems, and served as general counsel for an airport system with approximately 19,000 badged employees and $350 million USD annual budget.

 

In June 2020, Brian left his job at the airport system to be the primary caregiver for his two young children while the COVID-19 pandemic closed childcare centers. After the childcare situation normalized, Brian founded Sadek Legal in order to provide clients with world-class legal services in a personalized fashion and at prices reflecting his commitment to minimizing overhead, often working with clients to provide services on a fixed fee basis or via a monthly subscription model.

 

Brian is active in his community, having served as a member and the inaugural Chair of the Michigan Regional Transit Authority’s Citizens Advisory Committee; a member of the Board of Trustees of the Detroit Historical Society; and a member-owner of Motor City NYE, a public New Year’s Eve celebration in the heart of Downtown Detroit. Perhaps most importantly, he is co-coach of his daughter's Ann Arbor Rec & Ed soccer team (Go Bach Bengals!).

 

Brian received his law degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, with a master's degree in business management from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachussetts, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
